Thanks. In the States, I hardly noticed the day at all. In spite of the jingoism down there, Americans are not much into gratitude nor do they understand the meaning of the original purpose of the day. I am struck every year that I am here at how many Canadians really seem to get the meaning of the day and who wear poppies for the week or more leading up to Remembrance Day.
