How pitiful a nation of men do you have to be when you resort to codifying law to ensure your own wives will have sex with you and not run away when you are away from home?
This is religion when it’s not separated from state, people.

I’m with you on that, sister! What a nightmare. When I think of my daughters being treated in such a manner it makes my flesh crawl.
And why aren’t more men like you? Why can’t they picture their own daughters’ well-being and happiness when they pass laws that will profoundly discourage those two things?
Notice that the burden always falls on the women,though.
I think it was Yoko One who said that “women are the N-word of the world” and she was so right.
