I was awarded the Arte Y Pico Award by Damyanti. A fellow writer who produces several blogs, one of which is linked here – The Daily (W)rite, she presented me with this award on Monday with the following instructions:
1. Pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog.
3. Each award winner (upon acceptance) should show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award.
4. Show the link of Arte y pico blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5. Show these rules.
I have never received a blog award although my husband nominated me for one once. He is a bit biased, so I can’t really count that nomination, I guess. I am pleased and honored that Damyanti finds my blog worthy of mention, let alone an award. It is also something special when a good writer pays your writing efforts such a compliment.
