Here is an interesting way to share I found during one of Julie’s Hump Day Hmmm’s at a blog called Carol’s Corner.
The idea was to create a blog post once a week with links back to new blog discoveries you’d like to share. I don’t propose once a week. Just today. And not six blogs but one or two (though I won’t stop you from sharing more.
So here are recent finds that have made their way onto my Bloglines:
Living Oprah – One woman’s year long adventures of living life according to Oprah
Nancy’s Blog – if you like science and science fiction
50 Somethings Moms Blog – more like “women or a certain age” and certainly not “all mommy”
A Novel Menagerie – a book review site
And here are a couple of oldies that I love:
Girl with Pen is my feminist inspiration because I just couldn’t make myself read any of the genre icons this summer.
Daisyfae at the Trailer Park is who I want to be when I grow up.
And Karen’s book site is a treasure trove of reviews, author interviews and book give aways that is a must check out.
So now, what’s on your Goggle Reader?

Lots of great tips here. Love the blog on living life according to Oprah. As a writer, I tend to frequent sites by other writers, partly to help support their work and partly because their pieces are so well crafted and column-ish. My blog roll contains a long list of those writers; too many to list here.
Daisyfae is always among my favourites, and if I want to keep laughing I’ll check out PeterDeWolf.com and MegFowler.com, just to name a few …
Does everyone read blogs via readers now? I go from page to page, twice a day. I’m old-school like that. 🙂
Living Oprah cracks me up!
For total weirdness, and to get a look at life in Vancouver, BC, I tune into Raincoaster. She’s on my Facebook, she’s on my Twitter, I can’t escape her. Not that I want to.
For weirdness in the political arena, I turn to Jesus General, an eleven on the scale of absolute masculinity.
Thanks for the links!
Awww, I’m glad to see my blog daughter daisyfae (actually, according to trailer park tradition, she’s more my sister-daughter) getting some linky love.
And gosh, is she an “oldie” already? Seems like she just opened up shop yesterday. They grow up so fast.
I have been visiting the Trailerpark for a while now. Only just discovered you though and since I wrote this a bit ago, haven’t linked you yet.
I make a habit of promoting renalfailure everywhere I go. his cast of characters is hilarious, not to everyone’s taste maybe, but I am addicted.

and I second your recommendation of daisyfae 🙂
Thanks for the link. And yes, Daisyfae is awesome.
